This. I can't fucking stand Peanuts. It is total garbage. It has never been funny, amusing, or worth watching, or reading. It's never been relevant, even in the 50's. Fuck Peanuts, Fuck Charlie Brown, Fuck snoopy, and that goddamn lesbian Peppermint Patty. But I bet she swings both ways...

The problem is though catching it on the ONE TIME it airs like when we we little has lost it's magic as it's available on VHS/DVD/BR/Streaming. I remember being little and if you missed the ONE airing ABC did, you were screwed for the next 365 days.

The magic is gone, but the show is still awesome.

I have it on my movie server. I put Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown Christmas, Grinch, Muppet Christmas, etc on a special 'Holiday Movies' share that I enable periodically to watch the appropriate movie(s) with my son.
