I actually bought one b/c of this thread...well...bought the bigger one from the shack at first, and the damn thing caught fire while chargning, so I returned it and got the PiccoZ

Agreed....it doesn't nearly burn my house down. Plus, it doesn't need a smorgasboard of batteries.

If you adjust the tail rotor, it doesn't have problems with forward motion.

sounds just like one of those personal fans. It's not very loud at all.

abouut the life of the batteries...I'm still on my first set and I've flow that thing over a dozen times.

Yeah. It's quieter than my electric razor, that's for sure. Definitely not obnoxious, but not silent.
 
How far away can it go before it is out of range? Being the IR medium, i wouldn't have thought that far.
 
woo hoo, just took my helicopter out for a spin, good thing i didnt crash. One near miss though (damn random gusts)
 
None in stock in my area. Checked 2 stores. One CSR said they won't be in stock until Thanksgiving or something, though I never mentioned the name of it except that it was a small helicopter.
