You clearly did not watch the vid.
When he shut off the whole fucking car, the brakes worked.

His car was not suffering from the alleged acceleration problem, however.

During the unintended acceleration, the car will not shift into neutral and it will not shut off. This is part of the problem.
Everyone's a freaking expert on this ... until it happens to them.
if the brakes somehow don't work, what's so hard to believe that neutral didn't work either?
I would believe that the avg joe wasn't aware of holding the button down for a few secs though.
Until what happens? Until you find yourself bankrupt and stage an "incident" setting yourself up to sue Toyota so you can pull yourself out of financial trouble?
Yeah, that happens to me all the time.
Right, because that dumbass was the first and only person that's experienced a problem with their Toyota lately.
it was fake
who is too stupid to turn off the key?
1. If he filed for bankruptcy, depending upon which Chapter he filed, he may be completely clear of all debt right now. Ch. 7 would have cleared all of it; Ch. 13 means he's making payments over several years to repay the debt. In either case, he's NOT $700,000 in debt.
2. I seriously doubt he was ever 5 months behind on his Prius payments. Finance companies, be they banks or dealer or whatever, usually repossesses at 90 days behind. Certainly by 5 months overdue, his car would have been taken.
3. If he's in Ch. 13, he cannot be behind on his car payment anyway....the car's payments are taken over by the bankruptcy court and paid off via the court. He'd only make a monthly payment to the court each month in the amount designated by the court.....the car payment would be taken out of that, essentially removing him from any direct responsibility in that area. If the payments are behind right now, it'd be the court's fault, not his. Again, this is if he's in Ch. 13.
4. And what was the point of showing he's filed ins. claim for stolen articles from a car of his? That doesn't prove anything except trying to scandalize the article even more.
And monkeys fly out of my ass...
I could have sworn I read on CNN somewhere that his car wasn't suffering from the same problems that Toyota is in the news for.
They don't fucking have keys for ignition. They're push-button start.
Christ...
You still need a fucking key to activate the button... christ. Otherwise anybody could smash a window, push a button and take off.

Keyless fobs. 😀 (I'd freakin love to have a keyless fob on my keychain that auto-unlocks my car when I get close. Hop in, push button, drive off!)
Why is the guy in the video wearing a ninja mask? Is he too afraid of the ridicule he'd get from actually owning/driving a Prius or something?
😱
Since when? The future is truly here. :awe:
