I am downloading this now. It's weird to be minutes from playing something I've been waiting for for 14 years! Will post thoughts after I've played it through.
Thoughts? I pre-ordered and got my access code to "Duke's Club" or whatever, but didn't do anything with it. How do I get this?
I actually just cancelled my pre-order because I have too much other gaming and can't justify the $60 on it. Will pick it up used later.
I played the demo on Steam, it's alright, about what I expected, looks like a great title from 2006 or so, not so much from 2011.
Withholding judgement until people play the full game though.
It felt very average to me. One thing that I did like, though, was there was a small jumping puzzle that didn't make it blatantly clear where you needed to jump. I miss the days when games didn't hold your hand.
Ah, this was a PC-only demo? Was hoping I could try it on 360 or PS3.
I don't know, maybe it would have been best to just let the project die.
I also waited for this game for years but now don't play so many video games. I will not play this one unless it's mind-blowing, which it should be as it's taken so long I bet they'll need to sell 9 billion copies to actually break even with all the money in the toilet. In a way I hope the game sucks ass as a final f you to 3drealms for dicking around so long. But I guess that would be negative so hopefully it will be awesome.
Are people being intentionally dense? As was explained 5 million times already...3drealms had nothing to do with this game for the past few years. They finally got shut down and Gearbox did it.
