What I dont get is how people are so hung up on graphics and sound, when its the basic same gameplay 🙁
 
my radeon 9200 128/128 is playing it just fine at 640x480 with the 4.9 catalysts. cost:$62 🙂
so far, the game has scared the sh!t outta me, and i haven't come against a lot of tough guys yet. damn the darkness, and damn guys with shotguns!

Hmmm. Maybe I should grab a copy already. Can't be worse than your's on my Radeon 9500 Pro 🙂 I got 1 GB memory though, will that make a difference?

My friend's got a Ti4400 and 512mb of RAM and it runs relatively well on his system. Still looks pretty darn good on Medium.
 
i got the visiontek (out of nvida biz now) xtasy ti4200 and it's running well 1024x768, med settings
on xp2500 1gb pc2700 ram

farcry run, never mind, more like walking slooooooowly on the system tho

Don't worry, 9500 Pro is plenty good. On my overclocked 9600Pro, I can play it at a great frame rate on 800x600 Medium. I only have 512MB RAM. I find that 800x600 is the best looking resolution. Anything above makes the textures seem blurry compared to the resolution. Maybe high quality would make textures better quality, but the game starts to chug a bit on high.
