PSA: Do not let someone else send out party invites for you

So someone in my class thought it'd be neat to have a party. I thought it was great, since many of else don't get to hang out outside of class and related work, and offered to host at my place.

My understanding was as follows:

party for people in our class (and related friends)

What actually happened:

Actual invites are made instead of some ad hoc thing (honestly, facebook does work well when coordinating this). Said invites list "where?" as "fenixgoon's manor" (it's a reference to something else). Regardless, my house is a piece of shit in philly, not an actually nice place. this isn't a classy party. it's a bunch of college students.

invites for people outside our major and people (afaik) we don't know. or maybe it's just that i'm not in the know.

Translation: I feel a large wave of epic fail coming up in the near future. I knew I should have just done the inviting myself *sigh*

Bribe the neighbors, put away all breakables, and charge an admission fee to those you don't know.

Don't forget to lock up the valuables or anything you don't want disappearing.

Holy fuck. Is any of that in English? 😕

I was going to make fun of the grammar, however now it just feels like I'm kicking someone that's already down 🙁

Per your party, could be fail, could be fun, hide your shit in a bunker.
