Going to be depressing to come out of work in the dark. Bought a new light for the bike to deal with it and blind folks as I ride home.

Get out and enjoy the sun an hour earlier...

YES! Now I can go home at around 9 pm on Fridays than 10 pm. Darn Hong Kong teleconferences.

Damn. Now my commute home will be in the dark, and no light to play fetch with the doggies in the backyard when I get home. :( I hate standard time!

Bah! Now it'll be dark out when I go home, and on the weekends, to get up a little before sunrise (hunting), I'll have to get up about an hour earlier.

Woohoo, now instead of it still being dark when I wake up at 7:30am, it's going to be dark by 5pm...

that means S will be the correct middle letter in your time zone abbreviation. during the summer D is the correct letter. this is true for most of the united states.

Be warned, if you use an iPhone as your alarm clock. :p

And I love living in Arizona, none of the DST crap here. :D

I really don't get this crap. Just leave the time the same. I sit next to a window so I get to see the sun all day at work.

More work for me. My webhost honors DST while my scripts do not. So I have to go in a swap out the DST scripts with the regular time scripts.

I hate that whole shifting of an hour. That summertime shift takes 2 months to get used to, but i feel i do not adjust to it. For the wintertime shift, there is strangely enough no adjusting or getting used to at all for me. I like the wintertime the most. Even if it means that it is dark when i go to work and dark when i go home again. I hate it when it is spring, and the clock goes an hour forward for daylight saving.

damn farmers fucking everything up!

It ain't the farmers. It is statists ramming uniform time down everybody's throats. Get government out of time setting. Let the markets decide what time it aught to be!
