That's nonsense. Almost every decent pizza house in the US has an option for chicken, and many have specialty pizzas with chicken as a main ingredient. Granted, you won't find your hardcore NYC-style places, but it's nevertheless a core part of many gourmet pizza houses.

There's a local/regional pizza place here that has a chicken alfredo pie I like, but that's the only chicken based pizza I've had.
 
I like chicken. I like pizza. I like chicken on pizza. I do not like buffalo chicken on pizza, especially if it has blue cheese in place of mozzarella.
