Such an incredible horse.

Watching the replay of the 132 Kentucky Derby shows that he was unstoppable. His jockey wasn't even really on the horse and yet he still kept pulling on all of them.

Fastest last 1/4 mile since secretariat and the jockey didn't even touch him.

Amazing horse.

I care deeply about my dog, but I don't give a hoot about some racehorse on TV.

True, but if you are involved with the sport then it was a very signficant event and an INCREDIBLE horse. Just seeing him again - his attitude, his jaunt, everything. One of the best horses I've seen in a LONG time.

For those outside the sport he really was that huge. He was Tiger Woods at his first masters.

-ps- Bet Scat Daddy in the 133rd running of the KY derby.

Probably one of those "you have to be here" kind of things.

There's a build up with 3 year olds and the Derby. Emotions run wild. He was a great horse. The reason for so few horses running in the Preakness is because they didn't want to run against him. He was just that good.

Eitherway, it's a good watch for anybody that wants some history behind this Great Horse.

Secretariat was the horse that was truely unstoppable.

Barbaro was far from even winning the triuple crown.

Well have to disagree on that one. Watch his derby run. He wanted to run.

Can you compare him to Secretariat? Tough call. It's tough to even mention that name in the same sentance. I said hello to his statue before each race yesterday. ;)

I don't think there will ever be another Secretariat.

The only people who should care about this are the owners who lost out on millions in stud fees. To everyone else, it's just a big dumb horse.

No.

Owners had a policy out on that. Cost them less to save them than to put him down.
