PSA: Act II popcorn sucks.

I always have lots of unpopped kernels in the bag, and the open end of the bag gets buttery grease all over my microwave.

IMHO, Orville Redenbacher's and Pop Secret popcorn are the best brands.

old fashioned stove top popped is by far the best. you can make popocorn exactly like you get in movie theaters.

Act II. The very name suggests that they are second best. It would seem that they aspire to be only so-so, and set themsevles up for failure from the very start. I would rather set out to make the best god damn popcorn anyone has every shoved down their neck and go down in a ball of flames trying, than to choose a half-ass name like "Act II" and wallow in the mediocrity that would justly befit my lot.

I've never had that problem with any bag of popcorn, regardless of brand...

The concession stands in movie theaters are pure rip offs. It's like 10 bucks for a large bag of popcorn when the butter they use isn't even real anymore.

God i'd love to eat some real popcorn with some real butter on it and not that synthetic crap they have in microwave ones.

My microwave broke so I took the popcorn out of the Act II brand, hey it's cheap, and popped it on the stove. Amazingly better, no unpopped kernels.

The regal cinemas by me sell pre-popped popcorn for that price!
