The wii doesn't draw any power because it does not have nearly the same horsepower as the PS3, Xbox360 and PC. What does the connect 24 do anyways, other than poll for updates, which it doesn't even download automatically.

Well I guess thats what happens when you put out a system that graphically competes with an Xbox and a PS2.... :)

i agree, as a wii owner id like to see some comparison to ps2 power. i know wii is not in the same league as ps3 already. and for that matter, i mean the ps2 slim.-

Concerning PC power use...

Yeah, that's high. Then again that's an incredibly powerful system they have there. When I'm at home and work 9-5 five days a week, I turn my PC off from when I go to bed around 1 until I get back on at 6 PM the next day. That just makes sense and is obvious. But during the weekends I never feel like turning it off at night, and at school they pay for the power so I just leave it on. Next year when I'm in my own apartment though who knows what I'll do. I defintely don't want to do a cold boot every day because then Vista has to reload all my cache. Maybe I'll do Vista's new deep sleep thing.

Errr...you pay for the power. What do you think your dorm fees and all the other stuff you pay goes towards? (unless you are on a full scholarship of course)

Well yeah of course, but is my tuition going to be reduced if I turn my computer off at night? No.

I love how the $250 Wii can't even be included in the DVD playback test.

They should have tested NFS: Carbon across all 4 platforms, to give an even test.

Me too jeez

Expect to save $20-50+ per month when you do. And SLI users will save more than that.
With the rig in my sig, noooo way is that accurate. My house has two computers in it running almost 24/7 and the electric bill when we're not using the A/C is around $80/month TOTAL. This is for a three person house and is including the fridge, washer/dryer, all lights, the entire bill.
