PS3/TV video question

Hey guys, recently i've been playing Heavenly Sword and i've been noticing some choppy video, kind of like a slow refresh when playing (not cut scenes). Im thinking its more towards my tv rather than my ps3, unless this title just runs like that. I've also noticed this in the Uncharted demo, couple of times. I haven't really seen it in my other games. Anyone have a similiar experience?

I have a Sharp 42" 1080p D62U series LCD, PS3 hooked up HDMI and Optical out to my receiver.

I've got the Sammy LN46A650 which has the 120 hz refresh, and I've noticed some chop in a few place on Heavenly Sword watching my daughter play it. She must be getting near the end but it is a really cool game.

I haven't gotten Uncharted but plan on getting it in the coming weeks.

are you talking about screen tearing?

heavenly sword has a ton of it, and uncharted had a good amount as well.

it's when the top portion of the screen isn't vertically synched w/the bottom portion of the screen, and looks like there is a horizontal line accross the middle of the screen. it happens so quick though and is usually only a couple frames of animation.

here's an example of a frame that has some issues.
