Got my PS3 and took it for a shake down cruise this weekend. Had a couple of questions.
The model I got was the 40GB non BC $399 version.
First off, what is the difference between the wireless six axis controller it came with and the "dual shock" which is bundled with the 80gb version.
Is my 40GB model the newer "smaller die" model? Even still, I notice a good deal of heat in the TV stand compartment where my PS3 sits on the shelf under the TV cabinet. The PS3 is not enclosed (ie there is no door closing it inside a space). The space it is in is a normal spot that anyone would place a DVD player or game console. Would it be wise to put a small fan inside that space behind the PS3, to make it stay cooler and last longer?
