PS3 Rockband question

We bought a psclone guitar for rockband .. now now matter what we do or where we plug it in ... it thinks it is a mic. Anyone have this issue? if so .. got a fix?

We have shut PS3 off .. unplugged everything .. booted up . plugged it in ... yeah its a mic.

Lost and getting angry.

If it still thinks it's a mic, it's probably not a compatible guitar. Rock Band on the PS3 is pretty bad with working with other guitars.
