Yeah it's really awful, inside the sleeve is the same identical game.🙄

Even if you do not want the games it's a steal, easily could get $40+ each on EBay and ship them 1st class for free.

Most people could careless, with the advent of digital downloads optical media will be history soon eventually, more profit margins.

No one's disputing it's a great deal.

The packaging is perfectly acceptable for you, fine. But, for some of us, it's just not acceptable. We'd rather spend more money to get what we want. I don't know how hard that is for you to understand.

And you're not going to get $40 for those games. Starting Friday, both of those games are running in the $35-40 range brand new practically everywhere and will likely stay in the target range throughout the holidays. After the new year, the sleeve versions of these games will be available at Gamestop for $5 each.

Not hard to understand, just a little anal to be so bent out of shape because it's not in a retail plastic box. Most people do not care about the plastic packaging and once they finish the game it's tossed in a box like yesterday's news and forgotten about, I suppose if your a collector of box sets and have them in a glass case next to your Hot Toys 12" figures with a spot light focused on it like a scene out of the "40 Year Old Virgin", then it would be a big disappointment.

BTW I already sold Batman: Arkham Origins for $45 with the Deathstroke DLC to a guy at work.

This guy had two of them and sold them for $47.99 each on Ebay:

Just wander in to a GameStop in early Feburary. You've obviously missed the bins of pack-in games that show up after Christmas. You're right though, it might not be $5. But I bet it's not above $10.

I'll be sure to let him know your feelings. Amazon or other BF specials won't come with the DLC for that price and odds are they will be sold out in no time and if you want to go fight the crowds on Black Friday and stand in line for a few $ savings then knock yourself out. If it's any consulation he is going to Best Buy for some PS4 deals, so I guess the idiot claim isn't too out of line.

Any of the recent PS3 specials that showed up on Amazon sold out in minutes, a lot of people had issues with their orders.

The 12GB PS3 system for $149 sold out in minutes as well.

Maybe in a couple of years, Uncharted 2 (2009 era) in the thin cardboard sleeve goes for more than $5 online sealed. Neither of the included games are duds and demand is high for both. I am not going to be selling the Last of Us, there are DLCs coming for it which will extend it's usefulness.
 
Grabbed the $199 bundle and Ki No Kuni from Amazon. No tax and free shipping and no having to worry about the stores actually having any (ugh). I looked through and there really aren't many other games I want. Maybe Tales of Xillia when I get finished with those 3.
 
Amazon for some reason isn't updating but Newegg has them as cards - free shipping/no tax (outside of CA). I picked up 2 from there.

I picked up 1 from Gamestop but I don't know if it will go through.

Waiting to see if Amazon goes live.

I got mine a week ago basically on a whim and I have to say I expect to play it more than the ps4 over the next 6+ months. Ps4 has no games, neither does Xbox1.

Target I walked into at 7:00 today and it still had 8 of the $199 250gb deals--and $10 off that with a target card of course 🙂


Be honest I kind of wish I had not bothered with the ps4 at the moment.
 
I gave up on getting a ps4 I could of got one yesterday at game stop but its not worth it yet. Still plenty of God ps3 games to play
 
So I got my PS3 bundle today and noticed something interesting.

Right on the front of the box it says in a blue star "Over $165 in Value!" We paid $199. Knowing what I know about retail, that "over" actually means $166 at the most. LOL.

Sure there is mark up but I just find it funny they put that on the box.

They mean that the value is $365 and you are getting $165 off. It is poorly worded, however.
