PS3 Price Drop Black Friday?

Anyone have any info on Black Friday PS3 price drops? I do not picture buying the 12GB model unless it's really cheap and a HDD upgrade is warranted, so 250GB or 500GB.

It's not really listed on what he linked above but Walmart is having:

PS3 250GB with Last of Us, Batman Origins, extra controller for $199
PS3 12GB(?) for $149

BB and Target appear to be having the above as well, except I don't think they have the extra controller.

I'm thinking about grabbing the Walmart bundle...

$199 for a Bundle hard to resist that, I heard Last of Us was good. I am not a Black Friday person, that is dealing with the crowds and lines, wonder if anything can be had via online.

These are all Super Slims right? I suppose the Slim is out of production?

Yeah, the thing about the $200 PS3 this Christmas is that it's the super slim and... It looks really super cheap. Like, cheap cheap. Like, it's about to fall apart cheap.

It just extremely unattractive and I wish I could get the slim model.

Amazon will have the 250GB PS3 bundle with Last of Us and Arkham Origins for $200.

Where is the $149 12GB? its not on the BB flyer?

The super slim forgoes a slot drive in favor of sliding the whole right side of the top open and setting the disc in the try, then sliding the cover closed. It's cheap and it's also nosier than the slim.

Can you even get a Slim model on the shelf anymore? Refurbished or 2nd hand is about it.

I heard mixed reviews on the Super Slim, some say it's loud others say it's quiet. Cheap sliding disc door, but who cares if you do digital downloads. Some say it's easy to clean due to this design.

Nope, all gone.

I deliberately sought out the Uncharted 3 320GB bundle as the regular slim was being discontinued for the super slim. Even then I barely caught one from Amazon.

If you find one now it will be a reseller and going for $350+

Don't particularly care at this juncture. Just getting it for a few games I want to play. I was expecting to see some used going on CL, but haven't really seen any reasonable deals....people are trying to use them to subsidize their PS4's apparently

Gamestop want's $229 for a refurbished 160GB Slim, did not realize the Super Slim was such a POS?

$230 for a ps3 is nuts right now. At lunch today I got a 40GB with one controller for $100. I have seen a bunch on eBay go for a touch over $100, although in my area on Craigslist people are generally asking $150+.

I got the top loader model and think its perfectly fine. My launch fat PS3 bit the dust when GTA5 launched, so I bought the 500GB model. It is MUCH better than the original PS3. I actually like the top loader, makes it easy to get the games out without powering the system on. It is a lot quieter than the original both in disc noise and fan noise. It also runs very cool. The thing is tiny too!

I wouldn't buy a used fat PS3. You are just asking for a YLoD. They used non-lead solder that weakens over time. You will have a failure.

Never even heard of the PS3 12GB until now.

If you don't care about any games with the system, then the 12GB isn't a bad purchase. It's the same as the ones with a HDD, but with the flash on the motherboard. You can put a hard drive in it but, if you do, you lose access to the 12GB.

But, if I had a choice between the 12GBSS for $150 and the 250GBSS with Last of Us and Arkham Origins for $200, I know which one I'd pick every day of the week.
