PS3 login info

Anyone else have an issue where the password is not saved even though you check the "save password" box? Is there a fix for this. I already have the latest update installed.

I've never had that issue and this is the first time I've heard of it. Is this a new PS3 or is this a new issue on a PS3 that worked properly previously?

I've had the PS3 since November (80gb version) and it's never worked for me. I always have to key in the password. Not that it's a big deal, just wish it would work.

one time after an update i had to put the password in again i believe, but other then that no, Ive never had a problem with it saving.

Hmm... so I guess you've been through a few firmware updates then. I was hoping that maybe that wasn't the case because then I was going to suggest that maybe the next firmware update would fix the issue. Guess not. Have you checked with the official Playstation forums? Lots of users on those forums and maybe someone has run into this before. That's probably where I'd check next. That would annoy me to no end... I'd definitely want to figure out what's going on.
