I'm late to the party and eventually I'd like to get a PS3, however there just aren't any games I am interested in for it yet, that and I only have a 20" widescreen monitor that I use for any HD content... 360 is the one for me until the PS3 has that killer title and I get an HD tv.

That's a good point. I guess having spent half the price of a PS3 and having the motion sensing makes up for it...even if the games aren't there.

People say that all the time! I say that all the time, and I'm a Wii owner.

Ha, in real life I am always complaining about that. I'm scared about what the Wii will be like after brawl; will there be any worthy games coming out for on the Wii in 2008? ;_;

I've read the same as mugs on this forum. If I had a nickel for every time I've seen "My Wii is just collecting dust"...

I'd probably have a few dollars. :p

Off the top of my head I know Mario Kart with online play is coming. Project O is getting a lot of press at TGS right now and that sounds interesting. Star Wars: The Force Unleashed (Wiimote lightsaber & force powers confirmed) was just announced to be coming to the Wii, as well.

I'm sure there are others. If the Wii was my only console, it probably wouldn't be enough to hold me over, but paired with the 360 I'm pretty well set.

Fire Emblem should be good (the GC Fire Emblem was great).
I imagine a Mario Tennis game is in the works. Mario Power Tennis is awesome. Great fast-paced action. Multiplayer is particularly fun.

I haven't personally played my Wii in a long time. My roomie has played it a couple times recently since he never has played on before.
however, I need to turn it on again myself, so I can continue my spree in Zelda. That game was getting really really great, too bad no matter how great a game is I can end up walking away from it and never returning. Although some times I get the urge to play a game so bad that I end up doing so, sometimes a year or two or 4 or 5 (started playing Zelda: OoT in april or may, got further than I did when I was young, and once again put it down), but I sometimes even put it down after picking it up again. I guess I'm a person who really enjoys games but just cannot get addicted to a single game. However, Heavenly Sword does have my attention full on at the moment, and may be one of the few games of a long list of games played, that I may actually finish. One good thing about a short game. ;)

it's actually playing out to be a perfectly acceptable length imho. I mean, it doesn't appear as if it is a 6 hour game when I play, but who knows. I don't log the hours played, I just play and enjoy it as best possible. I'm also not trying to play through as fast as possible, and stretching out play sessions between multiple days as to make it more worthwhile. A few checkpoints at a time is a great way to play it.

The Wii has two great games Metroid and Zelda. The 360 has Bioshock, Oblivion, and Gears. While the PS3 has no great exclusives.

With the sales sucess the Wii has had more and more game developers are going to make big budget titles for the Wii. While the PS3 being in 3rd place is going to get less and less exclusives.

Excuse me? Bioshock and Oblivion are NOT exclusives. GoW is also going to PC. If you don't want to count the PC, then you still need to remove Oblivion from your list. Actually, I'd say, aside from a lack of downloadable content, that the PS3 version of Oblivion is the one to play.

"...the PS3 has no great exclusives."

That's a downright lie. Resistance, Warhawk, Heavenly Sword, Lair? Ok, so the last two are questionable, but Resistance and Warhawk are some of the best games I've played (despite whatever you want to say). So, you listed two games for Wii, two games for 360 (since Oblivion is ruled out), and I listed two games for PS3. I wonder if I should include upcoming games as well? Littlebigplanet, MGS4, Killzone 2...? The PS3 even has a decent selection of non-exlusive titles, such as R6: Vegas, GRAW2, The Darkness, etc.

Yeah, so most of the games I listed are shooters...that's mostly what I play. :p I know there are other good games out too.

The whole "PS3 has no good games" argument doesn't apply so much anymore. Sure, it's not up there with the 360 yet, but to say "The PS3 has no good exlcusives" is pretty far from the truth.

I'm waiting on Killzone 2 to buy a PS3, perhaps Littlebigplanet too, though I don't really understand what that game is about.
