Are you absolutely sure you're able to return the games and movies? A lot of other places (nearly every other place that offers bundles) won't let you return parts of bundles.

I happened to be in Walmart getting groceries when they announced they had a limited quantity available. I was right near the layaway dept. (where they were selling them from) and managed to get one of about 6 I think. I'm just gonna sell it, but it was pretty cool to happen upon one without having to buy a huge bundle.

I went to two Game Stop stores in Hillsboro, OR (Promenade Esplanade and Tannasborne Mall) tonight, and they both had the PlayStation 3 60gig version in stock. No bundles, just the unit itself for $599. The first store said they've had stock on hand for the last 2 days.

Good luck, prices on PS3's have bottomed out. If you were looking to buy one for ebaying, that time has passed. You'd be lucky to make $100 profit now, probably closer to $50.

I just checked the last 3 ebay auctions and the results were $120 profit, $150 profit, and $210 profit. Not bad I guess. It's still profitable, but no one is making a killing on them now.

Yeah no kidding. Ebay fees + paypal credit card fees will eat right through that profit.

I've got one ending soon. They have bottomed out. I'm hoping to make 50 bucks now. it's $630 after tax, figure about 60 in ebay and paypal fees, Its gotta sell for 740 to get ma 50 bucks.

I figured it was worth a shot, if it doesn't sell, I'll just take it back. no loss but the 6 dollar listing fee, it was worth the effort.

I too have a 60GB on eBay. This makes the 3rd time I've listed it. The first two times I used a auction format with a reserve. First try reserve wasn't met and the second was a -4 feedback scam artist from Nigeria. This last time I went with a buy it now immediate payment required listing and am doubting it will sell. I owe eBay around $30 in listing fees so I'm hoping I can sell it for enough to break even, otherwise I'd of just returned it for a refund.
If I'd of had the PS3 in November it would've been a decent profit, but as my luck usually runs I'm now just looking to break even..lol

live and learn I guess

I had 2x 20gb ps3's from november 17th. Traded the 1st 1, but the 2nd 1 I took back to Best Buy today (last day for a return). Less than 2 minutes after I returned it I heard them announce over the loud-speaker there was 1 available PS3 20gb for sale, and to come to a cashier up front if interested in it. I saw about a dozen people run up to the front, lol.

Then why if the F*&^ did you post that?

I still crack up when I see them listed on forums for $700-800. People are just not going to pay that.
