Why do people keep asking this? It's purely an official Linux install thing. Properly breaking the security on the PS3 would, de facto, get you access to all the hardware on the system.Does he have access to RSX?

Not necessarily the main purpose...or maybe it is, I dunno.
I'll have to wait and see what types of PS3s it works on when it's out. Maybe the hack only works for older PS3s and not Slims. I dunno. Going to keep holding off buying though.
