I'm looking to trade in some games and will be able to get up to $60 in trade ins. Only problem is I'm not sure which game to get. I'm basically up in the air between waiting for RE5, getting Killzone 2 or Prince of Persia.

I played the demo of RE5 and loved it, same with KZ2. Both have online play. Oh and I won the PS3 so don't give me crap about spending money on that rather than a 360. And unless you can point me to a 360 w/ a Blu Ray built in, I ain't trading :p

Not sure if anyone else can recommend another game other than these two. Got COD:W@W, Fallout 3, MGS4, LBP and I'm not really into Street Fighter.

I just have no job at this point and I'm still looking but I have some downtime. Need to kill it.

Thanks.

Always go for the exclusives first!

So Killzone 2 is a must.

Valkyria Chronicles would be a good way to piss away a lot of time. Nothing kills time like a good turn based strategy, and this one is really good, I'd recommend it if you're into TBS games at all.

GT Prologue, Dead Space, Uncharted, Wipeout HD, are all better choices.

Better choices compared to... ?

Uncharted is an extremely awesome game.
Wipeout HD is a must-buy for any fan of such adrenaline-filled racing games.
GT Prologue is great... if you enjoy that style of super-realistic racing, minus some aspects of realism.

The GT series has always felt so sterile. They are fun, at times, but they also bore the hell out of me.
I'm actually stoked for Need For Speed: Shift. From the developers of GTR (hardcore racing sim), plus added NFS grittiness and visuals, I think will be an amazing racer. Looking at some of the screenshots from recently, it looks amazing, and the visuals just put you there, very in your face. I hope its the hardcore sim I'm expected with the GTR devs in there, but that adrenaline-filled, take-no-prisoners approach that appears to be so heavily injected into the game (again, judging only from screenshots and my own expectations), the game might actually be a fun hardcore sim. GT is great for some people, but I cannot really get into it.

Other great choices would be renting Heavenly Sword or picking it up for cheap. Great action game in God of War style, but less grimy and more beautiful, plus kick-ass mo-cap and voice acting.

If a fan of FPS games, Killzone 2 is a must buy. If you could handle the demo and do not loathe the controls, it's very enjoyable. And online is just fun, and rewarding with time well spent.

It's hard to say one game is better than the other, considering all the games discussed are vastly different from one another. Whatever the genre preference is, will determine the first purchase I'd say. If FPS, definitely Killzone 2. But the other games mentioned could probably be picked up on great deals, if not simply rented.

edit: However, Killzone 2 is a must-buy over RE5 imho. The RE games are fun, but the controls can really frustrate me at times, especially when there are hordes attacking like in the RE5 demo. It'd be a great buy for fans of the RE games, and I'd enjoy it once re-adjusting to the RE controls (been forever since playing a Resident Evil game), but I'm not interested enough at full retail price. Maybe for $20 or $30 at some point down the road, especially if in a dry-spell for AAA releases.

This. Valkyria Chronicles is one of the best games to come out in years.
