PS3 connection problem

It shows that i am 75% to 100% connected to the damn wireless internet, except for i frequently drop or am unable to connect to PSN. Also, i cant get any info or stream at all from my computer most of the time, regardless of the signal strength. On top of that, if i test the signal, it says it times out when trying to obtain an IP address, but it shows its connected in the properties...wtf?!

its like i am connected...but not. Eh?

If ur dedicated to gaming, U'd get some wires. But, if wireless is a must, then set a static IP, and put ur PS3 IP into DMZ. It'll work much better.
