PS3 80GB for 320 and 160GB for 400

Hello all,
I've been looking for a PS3 for a long time and never found a brand new with warranty at this price. Might or might not be a hot deal but I bought one.

My local Circuit City in Burbank has the 80GB for 320 and 160 for 400. All accessories are also on sale. Got a Bluetooth remote for 15. The cashier said all CCity has them pretty much at this price since they need to move them out.

They are going quick so hurry if you want one.

My local CCs were stripped of accessories since they had these for 30% off. Was hoping for a DS3 controller. The games are dipping but still at 20%. Absolutely no systems, I went there day 1 of the bankruptcy and all systems were gone.
 
I also picked up Rock Band (with the drums, guitar, mic and game) for 112 since they were out of the Guitar Hero. Anyone know which is better and why?

I forgot to add the cashier said if you don't see it now, try again in a day or two since trucks are still coming in daily until the warehouse is empty.

If you're looking for a big LCD TV, I saw a 46" Sony Bravia for 997 so it looks like they have good deals on TVs too.

Huh? What the heck? Sure you can wait for the prices to drop. Why not wait until it drops to 199? It's still going for 399 right now. How long will it take before it goes down to 299?

The whole idea with Hot Deals is to give people heads up on where they can find what they are looking for now, at a good deal.

Just because I don't post much doesn't mean I don't know what thread crapping is.

I'm not sure if you will see it at $299 - $319 is a pretty damn good price and they were selling like drugs in the Bronx at my local CC.

wow calm down. Not everyone has a CC near them or maybe they are all sold out. CC is going out of business so its not like anyone in the US can get in on the deal considering they are probably out of stock.

Im just pointing out that they may be ~299 in the next few months so dont kill yourself if you didnt get in on this one.
 
Hmm I might pick up a 80GB then for this price then. Though isn't there a rumor going around that Sony is planning a PS3 price drop very soon?

There's always a rumor going on about every console that it's about to drop in price all the time, so that doesn't really mean much. If you can't afford it at this price then don't buy it. If you can, get it.
 
Does the PS3 upconvert DVD to 1080i/p? When I was first looking into getting one I dont think it had the capability.
