PS2rate Plus & Logitech Cordless mouse, can't work

Hi,
I have a Logitech Cordless wheel mouse(PS2).

I can't set the rate in PS2rate higher than 80hz.

and when i try the rate test, it is just only 50hz, and when i roll the wheel simultaneously, the rate drop below 30hz.(around 24hz)

why is that?

how can i fix it?
I remember when i was using a serial mouse, i can set the rate to 200hz.

hardware limitation of the cordless mouse😛 i have one.. ick its my paper weight because of that.

and ps2 mice can be set to 200hz, usb default 125, serial.. ugh i think 40hz

but how do u set ps2 mouse to 200hz.

you download a program called ps2rate, which is what you seem to have already found. actually logitechs drivers now include a ps2 refresh slider up to 200hz for the mice that support it😛 You fcan't set the cordless to 200hz. Well you can.. but it will only run at 50hz.
