PS2 with built in hard drive and broadband?

no. it'd be like the sega genesis with the cdrom. they'd be breaking up their customer base with the hard drive havers and the hard drive not havers.

yup features like that need to be there from inception to be successful.

But Sony will be releaseing external addons such as HD & Broadband it would only make sense to start
making PS2s with those features built in if they want to compete in online gaming

i dont see how a hd could not be successful.. its a big plus to have period... and i dont think any games require the HD, altho i could be wrong on that... plus.. people always love storage.. they dont always love cd-rom's
