I got a couple of these controllers (at least I think that's them) and Instead of putting $80 into getting two more PS3 controllers I'd like to use these wireless PS2 controllers (they are still very nice) for PS3. The only adapter I found someone in the reviews said it didn't work with their logitech wireless controllers.

not gonna happen, those controllers use an adapter that goes into the PS2 controller socket, the PS3 don't have any of that. Your best choice is to grab 2 used controllers @ gamestop or go with third party new controllers which are know to be bad.

That's what adapters are for :)

Eh, still another $50 bucks for more controllers. Would be a lot easier if I could just use my PS2 logitech wireless controllers, they can't be all that different. Probably not going to happen though like you said. Consoles are all money sinks.

Don't expect to find a ps3 controller again for under $30 dollars unless you're gonna buy a wired gamestop branded once lol...just saying...you know what you got into when you bought a PS3 ;)

With patience and slickdeals you can.

OP, courtesy of SD I bring you the Walmart sale on dualshock 3 bundles. You pay $50 to get one controller and one of five greatest hits games. Going by MSRP for the greatest hits ($30), you end up paying roughly $20 for each controller.
If you have all the games or aren't interested in them you could resell them as well and recoup some of your costs.

Oh, in terms of your actual question...I don't know of any adapters. It seems like you've found some although the quality is questionable. I'd recommend the above bundles unless you really cant afford to part with the extra money (not sure how much the adapters go for).

I saw that, but he said he only wants the 2 controllers.

bump

My old wireless logitech PS2 controller works fine on the PS3 with a ps2->usb adpater. Just no rumble, but that was expected.
