PS2 to PC?

I've never seen a (fully functional) emulator... the architecture is proprietary, and Sony has never released much about it. Reverse-engineering it completely without inside info would be *very* tough.

If you want to play games on a PC monitor, you can run it through a capture card (gives fairly lousy results) or a component->VGA transcoder (a "VGA Box").

I think i've seen one emulator floating around that would play a handfull of games, but I heard it takes a while to get them to work.

Get a PS2 and a Viewsonic N4 box. Looks great on a pc monitor crt or lcd. Dont even need a PC. Monitor connect directly thru the N4.

No. The only emulator being worked on requires them to spend lots of time on every single game to get them to work. And I don't think they have any games working 100%. It's not going to happen.

Console architecture, especially the PS2 and PS3, is too different from a PC.
