PS2 shipment at Best Buy West Covina

I went to my Best Buy store and they had a shipment of 10 PS2 unknowingly yesterday. I lucked out when they opened this morning and told me that there were 1 left if I wanted it. So go call your Best Buy store and ask them when they recieve shipment and keep your eyes open. Good luck! By the way this is totally worth the money, PS2 rules!

Well, they are saying that they bought it at bestbuy and sitting on the shelf, so I assume that they paid $299, the normal price, since those places don't jack up the price, I'm betting that in less than a month you'd be seeing tons of PS2's on shelfs. It's a marketing hype right now, like that tickle me elmo thing. haha..

I work at a best buy and we dont know when we get them in . We can tell how many we have on order from our corp office but besides that we dont know when they come in . They come fed ex and we dont know untill that moring of the shipments . And also if you want one you better wait in line everyone morning cause they are sold out with in 10 min opening all the time ...

Yeah, but if the waiting lists at Best Buy are handled like their rain checks, then that means the first person to get to the store (waiting list or no waiting list) with cash (or credit) in hand, gets to purchase the item.

I was under the impression that BestBuy wasn't taking names for a waiting list....I checked last Tuesday when I was at the one in Toledo, and the salesguy was pretty clueless (or just playing dumb), and said there's no way they'd hold one for me. Oh well, I'll just wait until they get some cooler games for them, and pick one up when its readily available (and cheap)
