PS2 Resident Evil 4 on PS3 vs Wii version

I was debating on buying this game. I've rented and beat the Wii version before. The PS2 version is on sale at gamestop for $10 new. I was just thinking if the PS2 would look better than the Wii version since the PS3 upscales the PS2 games. What do you guys think on the visual perspective?

i dont think it would, i know they scaled down the graphics for the ps2 version. like removed certain textures and what not.
 
I've also heard that the graphics for the ps2 version were worse than the GC version. I don't know much about the upscaling features but if I remember correctly the main difference of the ps2 version was some added goodies, I believe a side mission with Ada and some new weapons and such.
 
Loved the Wii version, the gameplay/aiming with the wii remote was a lot better and less frustrating than the ps2 version. Its the only game I have finished in the wii.
