PS2 questions. . .

1) How is the reliability of the DVD playback?

2) Is there a region-free hack for the DVD playback?

3) Would DVD features be better on XBox? If so, is there a region-free hack for it, as well?



I was going to get on that APEX 3201 player at CompUSA, but I heard that it's a real crap-shoot with those players and that there tends to be alot of skipping, etc. I already have an XBox and plan on picking up a PS2 before the end of the week, so i figure I'd just hack one of those since that playback can't really be any worse than the APEX. Anybody have any thoughts on this?
