hi guys - this is my first post. 😉 i'm researching on building a workstation w/ AMD cpu. i really like the PS2 console design - slim and small. this is what i found so far from gigabyte site - Gigabyte TA1

its spec doesnt sound too good because i'd really like a fast CPU & mobo and i'm not too concerned with performance (better graphic card, sound card etc). i'm using it for Linux purpose. do you guys happen to know a site for a similar pc case like gigabyte TA1 and PS2? and also what mobo would u recommend?

Umm I don't think you can swap the mobo in that. Sounds like a Epia board in there so good luck trying to get anything outside an Epia in there. You could always find a broken PS2 and do your own PS2 mod (not sure if anyone has done it yet) but would be pretty cool.
 
When I was in Taiwan a month ago I saw those gigabyte computers everywhere. Just wait because I bought one for my cousin that was equipped with a p4 2.8ghz cpu , but the case will not accept a high end gaming video card.
 
yea that's what i thought so. that's why i'm trying to find a case that looks like PS2. i was hoping somebody out there knows a site for it. 🙁
