PS2 in Stock at Virgin Megastore LA..

Just got back from Virgin Megastore LA and saw stacks of PS2, for anybody still wants PS2 this is really hot deal with AMEX blue card is giving away 30% off almost anyting at Virgin Megastore deal still on till Dec 26 is the last day.
Too bad I already have an XBOX.

Yeah, but for the price, the ps2 is nearly worth it, especially with GTA3 and FFX out now.

fyi, bestbuy (at least in Houston near the Galleria) has a tremendous inventory of ps2.... the ones on the floor were stacked by about 12 units long, 12 units wide, by about 10 units tall.

It's not, it is in short supply at Virgin Megastores though, because of the 30% off deal. I'd be curious to see how many of those go straight to ebay...

Virgin Megastore at Burbank has no more PS2 in stock...

The LA store has at least 20 to 30 instock as flippo has mentioned in this thread...went there this afternoon to get one for my kids

Virgin Megastore in Anaheim at The Block had plenty of PS2's .. No XBox or Gamecubes, but when I asked for a PS2, the guy had to go to the other side of the store to get some.. he came back with at least 8 units on a hand cart and gave me one... I could have gotten more on my AMEX, but I just left with the one for myself..

Why bother purchasing the PS2 now from Virgin, even with 30% off it's $210. Come Dec 29 the rumor is that the RETAIL PRICE will drop to $199.99

We'll see. May serve as a pricematching opportunity through Amex or something.

Intresting quote on the 199 deal. But with Amex your protected. And you can still pricematch as well.
