ps2 guncon light guns

anybody played time crisis 3? not the arcade but on ps2. if so how is it? worth getting?

and does anybody own or experienced the Super Light Blaster? it's those light guns that replicates the arcade ones, they have a recoil when you shoot and it also comes with a pedal. are they good? or not as accurate as the guncons?

do you guys know any other light guns with recoil (and preferably a pedal) if so which ones and what price?

yeah im getting a big screen tv too soon, and it'd be sweet to have this whole thing setup, no more small 27" with a split screen

Werd. I'm fine with my 27" right now, but the new TV is almost twice the size. I can't imagine how it will look 😀

Anyhow, I played Time Crisis 2 a long time ago on some dude's PS2 (or PS1, I forgot). No clue what guns he was using, but I THINK they had recoil, but I don't remember any pedals.

recoil and pedals are very rare, right now i can only find Super Light Blaster and p99k light blaster. the p99k is receiving an 85% score on a reviewers page, but the gun itself look like an alien gun. i rather have the one that looks like a deagle (desert eagle), and super light blaster is probably the closest to resemble it... it's going for about 17bucks (excluding shipping and tax). i wonder if it'll be worth getting 2 of em...

I have TC3, I use the stock Guncon 2. It actually translates VERY well to the arcade, even without the pedal and recoil.

I haven't played TC3 with the super light blaster, but I'd wager that at the price it's selling at, it won't come anywhere near the build quality of the Guncon2. The features are cool, but imo it would be distracting to play with a gun that was cheaply made, especially compared to the ones we're all used to at the arcades. I have the GC2 + Vampire Night and have no complaints, in fact, I think it rocks. 😀

Bleh, who needs foot pedals anyways? 😛

Yeah, the Super Light Blaster looks way better than the e99k. I'm thinking of picking up two of them, but I'll need the actual game itself first 😛

although when you get the game, you'll get a guncon along with it.

i have heard mixed reviews about having these recoil guns. what i hear is that it's just making an annoying plastic-clapping noise. but i think thats what it does for the arcade as well. and i enjoy having that little burst back recoil as it adds to the experience of playing the game. im also a bit skeptical with the pedal, it looks really small, and i have fairly big feet...

why would you not want a pedal for? fortunately i believe you can play without the pedal...or is that just for the p99k?

i'm not sure, it's blue and orange in color , has "recoil" and a pedal. i much prefer the guncon guns that come with the game as they are much more accurate.

I'd guess the reviewer had a defective product; I haven't experienced any stiffness with the GC2 at all.

😕

the super light blaster is usually black and looks like something in between a glock and a deagle. but yeah, granted that most third party light guns aren't going to be exactly as accurate as the guncons...

BOTH of my guncon2s crapped out. They weren't really stiff, although my finger would get tired after a while.
