PS2 Game Recommendation

Rented God of War the other day and in widescreen/progressive mode it looked absolutely amazing on my Pioneer Elite 630 HDTV. I haven't been that impresses w PS2 graphics in probably 3 years. I don't play my PS2 all that much (except Madden) because I think the graphics tend to look crappy on the large screen especially when stretched (I hate playing w the bars on the side). I ran down the line in Blockbuster but nothing else I saw had the 'progressive scan' label on the back.

Question is what other PS2 games support progressive scan and wide screen or generally speaking have the best graphics?

anything else? I swear I'm developing ADD in my old age so I don't think GT4 or Tekken will hold my interest long...Prince of Persia looks sweet.

It's not that I wouldn't play it but I'd prob get bored of it pretty quick. With GoW I played until all hours of the night (and I work an 8-5). Fighting games a better when you got two people and when you get to be 27 years old it's alot harder to convince your friends to leave the wife and kids to come over and burn an afternoon playing PS2. 🙂

If you like RPGs, Star Ocean: Till The End of Time is a great game. Some of the event scenes get long (there is a setting to skip them), but the game is very well done IMO. It supports widescreen and 480p, so it's all good.
