Ps2 Controller on PC suddenly acting weird or is it windows update?

Hey guys, I have a Ps2 dual shock controller connected via a ps2-pc adapter to my computer front case port. I have installed the latest drivers too. For 2 days I have had no problem playing with it and the vibration was perfect too. Suddenly my controller (after an update of windows) started acting weird....everytime it would vibrate the controller analog button would go off automatically (which ever game I play) and would make the analog sticks useless until I press the analog button again....I have to keep pressing the analog button every single time the controller vibrates.....

Note:
After the update I have various more problems with my games.... Batman arkham origins will not start at all giving a memory error from the start.....it was fine for like 20 days....

Assassins creed 4 now crashes everytime the controller vibrates.....

I use x360ace emulator for the games. I have had no problems with it before.

Any Idea whats going on?

If you know which update it was you can uninstall it and see if the problem goes away. If it does you can hide that update so it doesn't install again.

@denis

These are the latest.....Also Idk how to uninstall the windows defender updates..

@puffnstuff Windows 7 ultimate x64

Note: I did update my Nvidia drivers to 331.82.

A driver update is more likely to cause a problem than a Windows Defender update. Did you update the drivers before or after it started acting weird?

EDIT: Also, do you have a different computer than you can test the controller on?

+1!

K I downgraded my graphic drivers to 331.65 and I am still facing the same problem.

I have found out that when I switch off the vibration. The analog stick does not get disabled automatically. Althought Batman still gives the same error after various attempts / re installs etc.

Edit: Batman problem solved I had to do a clean install of the drivers. As for my ps2 controller vibration problem I think that my controller is at fault.
Thanks all for helping.
