PS2 Component Cable...where?

I've spent hours trying to find PS2 component cables online but all I've found is generic cables that I don't trust and Monster cables that cost $40, and apparently the official cables are out of production.

So can anyone recommend me good third party cables? Or maybe tell me where I can find the official ones?

Sony is just packaging them for the PS3 now, but the cables are the same.

A friend was looking for component cables for his PS2 recently so I got him a generic set for $6 shipped on eBay. I don't have a side-by-side comparison with the originals, but the ones I bought look as good as can be expected on a PS2.

Just say "no" to cable snobbery. 😛

Definitely check out ebay. I got some used Psyclone cables for ~$20 shipped. Incidentally, I'm not sure what I'll do with them now as I just found out my Dell monitor doesn't accept 1080p from component...

the ps3 is the same, so you can use those if you can find them.

monoprice.com has some universal console cables, they might have component.

Cheapo component cables for the PS2 are fine. Max resolution for the console is 480p, and you could get that with rusty iron component cables.
