PS2 available @ Sony site

I believe this has been posted before but I just wanted to make sure some of you guys knew.

Sonys official PS2 site usually has them in stock.

PS2s are *currently* out of stock but I have checked every few days and they have been in stock. Price is MSRP +S&H not sure about tax.

They had them in stock on Tuesday for a few hours. I should be receiving mine in a few days.

This is strange. On Wednesday I received this email from Playstation.com

Wed 11:52pm PlayStation.com Your PlayStation.com Order #xxxxxx has been shipped!

and then today I received this

Thu 11:52pm PlayStation.com Your PlayStation.com Order #xxxxxx has been shipped!

It was at the exact same time just on different days and the order # was the same. I guess they want to make sure I know that it shipped.

I ordered one from them a couple of days ago and the shipping was $6.50 to Illinois and no sales tax. I'm expecting it to be delivered tomorrow via Airborn Express.

I believe you just keep checking every few days till its in stock. I've seen it in stock for 1 day+.

Great deal. Now I have look for some new games.

You can sometimes get some good games for a little cheaper at, believe it or not, Walmart. Somehow I ended up on their web site and I while I was looking for the boxing game (the one where the guy has the big fro) I noticed they were selling it for less than $49.99. Everybody else seems to be selling the PS2 games for $49.99 and up. The memory card and controller were also cheaper. Linkage

One word.. SSX its incredible.. alittle steep learning curve but once you get used to it.. the tracks and tricks are amazing. Best game out now.. bar none.
