PS2 and Dance Dance Revolution?

I was thinking of purchasing Dance Dance revolution and the dance pad.. But we don't have a Playstation One anymore, just a PS2.. does anyone know if the game and the dance pad work on a PS2?

Get the pads over eBay.. Instead of paying $30 a pad, I got two of them for $15 shipped
