PS vs. PSP?

Which is better, Photoshop or Paintshop Pro? I have used both, and yet I found a few things on each one that I didn't find useful but just curious what other thinks.

Which is better, Photoshop or Paintshop Pro?

PS is better IMO, but it also cost a lot more that PSP & has a higher learning curve. Are you planning on purchasing one or the other, or do you have both and want our opinions DR?

I like photoshop as you can extract pictures easier from photos. I love it on Fark photoshop contests.

I've got an academic copy though. . . Don't know if I would've paid full price.

Zim Hosein - I plan on purchasing one. If I am going to pay the price, I want to get the best and the one that has more options. I like both but I don't know exactly which I like better. So I want other opinions about them. If that makes sense.

photoshop, but psp is capable of doing most editing jobs

btw, i thought this thread was going to be playstation 1 vs playstation portable, lol

Personally I prefer PSP, but I never really stuck with PS long enough to give it much of a try. I found PSP's interface to be much simpler.

It depends on your need. If you will use other adobe products as well, photoshop will be the better choice of the two. But if you just want to do some simple photo editing for fun, no need to get PS.

i like photoshop better.
dont know about the two prices, mine is academic version and PSP ive used on others machines.
