PS Plus

It's easier to do it through the Playstation App for me then on the console because I can add PS3 games and PSP/Vita games as well.

I normally do it on the computer and have to search for someone that has them listed with link. Not sire why PS itself doesn't have a page set up similar to xbox.
 
Best way I've found is in the PC in a browser, you can add games for all the platforms there in seconds without any downloading.
 
I forget the exact set of links, but on the website, which is what the app uses, it's something like Games > PlayStation Plus > Free Games.
