I just ordered the GA-K8NXP-SLI and I'm wondering what power supply requirements -plugs and size are needed?
Will any of the newer quality models work or does the PCI-Express and SLI boards require something special?

I was looking at an Antec TruePower 430 or maybe a NeoPower?
I've seen several threads on this but nothing recent or definitive.

PCI-X is not pci express... That is a workstation PCI slot, you are thinkin PCI-E
Please don't call it PCI-X, it confuses people :p

long as it's a 24pin mobo connector it should be fine.

Thanks for the correction. I didn't realize that.
And thanks for the quick response.

Has 24pins been the standard for awhile? My current Athlon XP system has one ATX connector and than a 4 pin connector that plugs in near the processor.
Its TruePower 380. Probably 2 small now but I'm wondering about the design.
