Provocative article about the Academy Awards - good read.

Hey, I was about to post that 😉 hehe. Seriously, I have to agree with what Coulter says about Julia Roberts. Her little speech and clinging on to Denzel Washington was embarrassing.

Halle Berry has really bothered me ever since X-Men came out and she did an interview complaining that the quality of roles for black women was so bad that she was forced to take a part as a comic book superhero. She then followed that up with Swordfish where she bared her breasts and played the floozy. She then followed that with Monster's Ball where she gets naked and freaky with Billy Bob (why?). My statement to her would be that you are not making the roles for black women any better by taking roles such as these.

Ahh well. Hopefully, Hollywood will eventually stop preaching about the prejudice it seems to practice so well.

That was the biggest load of crap.

Why does everyone have to look at these people and think the negative? Why couldn't Halle Berry actually be REALLY REALLY excited she won best actress? Why couldn't Julia Roberts be REALLY REALLY excited for her good friend?

People need to stop reading so much into all this. Not unlike this forum, the article just seemed to be another disgruntled white person.

That article is only thought-provoking in that it inspires me to wonder, "why would anyone recommend reading this nonsense?"

At least this will ensure yet another venomous racial debate - God forbid we should go an entire day without more race-based taunting and insults.
