Prototype vs Infamous

From what little I have seen, Prototype seems more interesting. What do you think?

From the few gameplay videos I've seen, Prototype has always looked a little rough around the edges. I've yet to see anything about what you actually do in Prototype besides annihilate soldiers and elbow drop tanks (i.e. mission types, the point of playing), although I haven't been paying that much attention lately.

Right now I'm more interested in Infamous. If Prototype isn't terrible I'll likely pick it up somewhere down the road when it's cheaper.

i agree, prototype looks pretty crappy and it's pretty far along in development. looks like a beta that needs a lot of polish. i mean i nkow it's not finished yet but it looks like it still needs a lot more than a few months worth of work.

Well, let's see... Infamous has actually come out, and gotten great reviews. That puts it a little higher in my book.

What? That isn't enough?

I do agree though that they've done a better job of explaining the story behind inFamous than has been explained about Prototype. This opening cinematic and this story trailer are about all that I've found while inFamous has had more info released.

I do like the powers shown in Prototype more than inFamous though.

That is the main reason I am liking Prototype more. I am not liking the electrical theme of Infamous.

I'm going to get both, right now though I think infamous will be better just from what I've read about both.

I thought I would get Prototype and pass on Infamous, until I played the Infamous demo. I'll just end up getting both, and maybe waiting a bit for Prototype.
