Protien at once

it's not that clear cut.. dont think there's any solid journals or research on this... but in bodybuilding community, most of people recommand getting at least 1g of protein per 1lb lean mass.. if u r trying to bulk up at least 1.5-2g of protein per 1lb of lean mass daily..
 
Just educated guesses here... but i think it depends on how fast the protein is digested. Whey is very fast digesting, so maybe 50g? Something like milk protein or meat would take longer, maybe 60-70g? not really sure, but those numbers sound reasonable, anybody got data to prove/ disprove please link
 
Depends on the person. Some people can assimilate more protein than others. More than 40gms a serving is overkill for most people.

I know that. Thats basic. What i mean is how much can your bodt consume in one sitting. Like can it consume 50g. 100g? How much is too much before it goes to waste in one sitting.

And how long must you wait to consume more. Say you body can only handle 50g at a time. How long must you wait to take another 50

Some of the better proteins are time released or slower to digest like casein. A mix of fast and slow burn proteins is best. I consume about 50g in a shake but in meat or meals, 40-50.
