But how about picking up muscle milk for a shake every day or every other day, and then another protein, like that Nectar, for daily use. If the Nectar is too expensive (which it is), get something like ProLab Cookies and Cream.

Well, I need it to heal a wound...like a giant bullet hole. Half an inch across, half an inch deep. It takes months to heal something like that...I've already spent a MONTH in bed halving it's size, and I need to get back to life. Protein has always sped that up.

Protein supplements isn't going to help for it. Try not sitting on your ass for so long and maybe getting an ass message.

I'm guessing you missed the part where he said he's a quadriplegic?

ooops sorry I missed that part
I'm not a doctor but I've taken a nutrition class in college. You should not need to take supplements if you're eating three regular meals a day, as they are already providing a sufficient amount of protein. If you are skipping meals, then the supplements will be useful as a meal replacement so you get the needed protein, but they are not magic powders that will heal you.
I currently use PRO-RATED Alpine Vanilla flavored whey protein 6lb for $20 at costco, 23g protein, 0fat/carbs. It tastes great and makes a great meal replacement when I blend it with soy milk and and a spoonful of black sesame powder(I think this is a chinese thing). Tastes great without the sesame powder too, but I need that extra bit of protein and carbs in my meal replacer.

I'm not eaiting three meals a day...Nothing I can do about that from bed...my whole family works full time, and it's just not possible.

Well then 1 a day should do. Suggested daily intake of protein is like 60g, so you'll be increasing your intake by like 50%. Believe me, this stuff tastes like a milkshake. It's going to blow your mind how great it tastes.

BTW, if you get protein, get vanilla. The thing with Vanilla, is that if you want to make it flavorful, you can just add NestleQuik chocolate syrup, and you'll have chocolate flavor... or if you want strawberry, get the strawberry syrup, etc. I've never tried the chocolate Muscle Milk, but because it DOES taste like a milkshake, it MAY be too sweet to add chocolate syrup, so you may want to go half chocolate and half vanilla. But any other protein, always go for vanilla and just add your own syrup.

Ok, i'm done for the night. Order from bulknutrition if you do... i doubt you'll find better prices than him out there, and he has better service than any other supplement company out there, trust me. If you order it today, i can almost guarantee you it'll be shipped tomorrow.

Agreed, vanilla blends well with other flavors. I recommend blending it with soy milk so you have an extra protein boost to make it a sufficient meal replacer. I usually try eating some toast along with the shake so I get the complex carbs I need, but you probably don't need as much since you don't move around much.

How often would I drink this? Daily?

Drink it as a meal reaplacement. If you don't eat at the time you're supposed to, drink the shake as a substitute. If you eat all the meals you are supposed to in a day, then don't drink it at all. If you only have one meal that day, then drink it twice.
