Why would you want to pay an extra 1% if you got a fix 8.9% ?

He probably values lowering the balance used on his credit cards.

Yep. It doesn't restrict anything, it just adds you to a base of like minded, community orientated AT Members. =)

I wouldn't call 4 members, all looking to lend, as "nice and fast" ;)

Me + 5 others, so 6 of us...considering this was only posted a few hours ago, and is an AT only group, it's not a bad start! ;)

I <3 Prosper.

As a borrower, is there anything the ATOT group can do for me really?

Yes there is, Eli. =)

When you are part of a group that is responsible, and has a low default rate, you are more trusted by borrowers and get lower rates on loans, as they are bid down.

Also your listings will be shown to our entire group so that we can help you in your goals, because who better to invest in than our own.

Also you will be part of a well respected unit, as we are a private community (growing still, but that's the best time to get in. =) )

Do we have any lending prospects yet?

More importantly, have we convinced the mods to permaban any deadbeat payers yet? :)

Yeah, I don't see any action going on in our group. Also, OP should set up links for all of the group members in 1st post. Let new joiners decide who gets the $25 bonus :)

I just requested an invite to your group.

I am about to 'invest' another 200$ in this prosper thing. Any AT people on prosper need help finishing off their loan?

How does this website determine credit ratings from the borrowers?
How do they verify whether the debt to income ratio is correct and so many other things?

It's something to consider when I start making money, but I don't want to loan money to some deadbeat.
