It's there, don't know why it isn't working! I'll post the link in text for the time being.

Something's either really wrong with my computer or browser at the moment. You can of course go to costco.com and type Proscan 40'' for the time being.

I'll be picking one these for my parents 6/15, since the 16th is their anniversary date.

Sales at costco.com are often not available at the B&M, and the website does not offer in-store pickup. So with shipping added by costco.com, BB may be a good option. Can anyone confirm whether this deal is also at the B&M?

wow crazy price.

As for shipping costs, I ordered some furniture from costco.com recently. Basic ground shipping was free, I am pretty sure the TV should be free ship also. I am too lazy to check with another TV right now.

It really varies with costco. I've seen delivery cost from $19.99 to $99.99 on TVs. Really hard to tell until the deal goes live. If shipping is free this will indeed be a very hot deal.

Wonder what the added California recycling fee would add to it since it says they have to ship it to you Hopefully shipping is either free or very cheap.

no, you don't pay $50 for membership, but you do pay more if you aren't a member

What he said.

However it's really just a lot better to get the membership and have it for a year. More than likely you'll make it up during Black Friday. They also send you a coupon book that has some pretty good deals in it (online too).

Being able to shop at Costco never hurts as well (even though I personally hate the place - except for the killer hot dogs)

I dare you to find an equal sized and priced roasted chicken as the one they have for $4.99. The membership is worth it for that alone. Dang it, now I'm hungry.

Can someone tell me how hdmi works?

I tried it the other day on a friends tv. I hooked up laptop via hdmi and watched a movie. It worked great and looked great (it was a hd movie). But the tv only went to a 720p resolution (tv is a 1080i). If the tv was a 1080p would it have been 1920 x 1080?

If the TV supports 1080p and the device is sending the signal in 1080p, it will show up on the TV at 1920x1080!

Interesting that the specs shown for what I assume is the same TV differ for brightness, contrast, and response time between these 2 write-ups. Are these actually the same set aside from the bezel?

Also a bit interesting that aside from a better return and warranty policy, you aren't getting anything extra from Costco but are only getting the same price - I'd expect either a better price or some add-on (mount, speakers, something...)
