I wave at everyone I see.
Actually, funny joke to play on people. When you see someone standing on the street, toot your horn and wave in the opposite direction. haha!

When driving behind sports bikers and "hog" riders (what's the name for them), I've observed many different behaviors. The hog riders usually just stick their left arm out with ther hand flat. They never do this to the sports bike riders. The sports bike riders usually just do a head not; haven't seem them to a hand wave.
Aint that cool though...
You try greeting another driver in a car and they'll probably want to run you off the road.![]()
I get greeted by Nissan Z owners quite a bit in my 350Z. I've had some drivers of older Z's go out of their way to get next to me, honk, and give me the thumbs up. A lot of the male Z owners usually give a wave from the steering wheel with the thumb still attached.

You are supposed to use the middle finger on one hand. If you really want to say hello you use both hands with middle fingers extended on each. If you REALLY want to give the other a HUGE hello, you stick one arm out horizontally in front of you with the elbow bent at 90 degrees (you can make a fist with this hand). Then you take your other hand and come up underneither it with your middle finger up and then in an upward motion you hit the inside of your second hand elbow across the forearm of your first hand (note: this is hard to do while moving)

Left hand, no need to even remove it from the handlebars, just flip up the fingers a little.
