All the people who say I always start at 15-20% with adjustments up or down are interesting.
Personally...I start at 0%, and the tip has to be earned and can reach 25%.
But all this is just semantics.

If waiters/servers do what I suggested in post #142, they will earn their 20-25% tip.

He earns $400 easily(he mentioned this in this thread again) on Saturday(8 hour shifts) and lets assume he earns $150/night for the remaining 24 hour weekdays for a total of 32 hours a week.
$44,200/year...That's still a lot of money.

My pharmacy technicians work a lot harder than he does and yet he earns much more.
This was a guy who only worked at a video store 4.5 years ago, then worked at staples, then worked at CVS, and now he's a waiter.

I cant tell you my yearly rate as I've only been here almost 8 weeks, but in the last 8 weeks I've made approx $5gs and change.

Don't always assume that. Last saturday I had a 2 hour stint behind the bar in which I rang about $1700 in beer and liquor. Thats $14 in sales and serving per minute, for 2 straight hours during peak.

Keep in mind that this was during part of a 15 hour shift on my feet, sold about $3500 total in food + beverages for the day. Sure I went home with a full wallet but its not "easy" by any means.

So you're a human vending machine? You don't really have any skills, and your ability to dispense drinks isn't really in short supply. well i work in a pharmacy, so i kinda new it was coming thats why i stopped

2 jobs since i was 15.

First Job video store worked there for 5 years(only left because the store closed down)
Second Job office depot, been there for 3 months now.

the 3 real jobs i've had since 16 i've never missed a day

I worked in a video shop my dad owned for 4 years.
Worked at CVS Pharmacy as a pharmacy tech for 1 year
Now i work at office depot.

3 jobs in 6 years. not bad for a teenager.

I just have no interest in leaving the house today, i spent all day yesterday out of the house looking for a job and nobody is hiring, its depressing when you get rejected from dunkin motherfucking donuts. The vast majority of people have no problems driving while high. The same can't be said of alcohol, so there is certainly a distinction, even though you shouldn't do either.

I agree with Eli and , X, If its your first couple times blazing, i would not recommend it, but if your a seasoned toker, only thing it will make you do in the right lane on the interstate.

and i drive stoned and drive while getting stoned, call it irresponsible but if anything pot encourages me not to speed, im just alot more relaxed and calm..
