UPDATED SECOND Q:

Should a personal note hand delivered in a plain stationary-size envelope to a corporate office include anything other than the recipients name? Should I mark it personal?


Is it:

I hope we run into one another before too long..

or

I hope we run into each other before too long..

or.... do you have a better way of casually saying I hope we see each other again soon.

(This is a note to the boss of my boss' boss' boss, don't ask why.. no I'm not trying to steal someone's job...).

Or if you want to imply desire, you could say:
Hope to see you later.

Don't make it more complicated than it needs to be.

Unless the recipient has a secretary, marking it as "personal" is unnecessary and will only draw unwelcome attention to the recipient. In some places, marking it such might even be reason to make it suspect, unfortunate but true in this day of anthrax being mailed in envelopes.
